Requirements to Join our Network of Independent Real Estate Photographers

  • Minimum 1 year of photography experience required.
  • Punctual with great pride in professionalism.
  • Excellent customer service skills and excellent communication abilities.
  • Must keep an up to date calendar of availability within the House Trekker Photographer Portal.
  • No criminal record - House Trekker reserves the right to request a police check.

Required Equipment

  • Full frame camera with wide angle lens.
  • Aerial drone with an adequate camera, and accompanying drone license if applicable.
  • Reliable vehicle with adequate insurance.
  • Smartphone with data package and a laptop/desktop with a high-speed Internet.

The Jobs

Photographers are generally required to follow these steps to complete each job

Maintain an accurate and up to date availability calendar on our portal. There is zero tolerance for cancelling jobs and being late for jobs.

  • Drive to jobsite (milage is charged to the customer and added to the payout if the jobsite is over 20km away, 1 way)
  • Obtain media/do the job
  • Prior to 11 pm the same day
    • Upload only the media to our servers that will be used to fulfill the customer order (edited or unedited)
    • Process the IGUIDE tour in the IGUIDE portal account issued to you at the time of hire and submit. (training will be provided as needed)
  • The following day, check and approve the edited media and IGUIDE tour/floor plan as a final check prior to submitting to customer. (re-submit for any edit revisions if required)
  • Upload media to customer portal for final delivery

Compensation Details

Independent photographers are compensated based on the invoice amount to the end customer less, taxes, job related expenses, and 15% service charge.
